What is your favorite Philadelphia neighborhood and why?

My favorite Philly neighborhood is Fairmount. There’s just something about all the people who come to see some of the great things that Philly has to offer like it’s various art museums, Kelly drive’s Schuylkill River trail, the vast amount of picnic and relaxation space that is Fairmount Park, and the mix of eclectic new and long-standing restaurants/cafes/bars along Fairmount Avenue.

What do you love about being in real estate?

I love the opportunity to help people find a place where they can call home; a home where they can be themselves, host family and friend, and create a safe relationships, creating homes, and crafting experiences that resonate with people on a deeply personal level.

What is the one thing any new resident should know before moving to Philadelphia?

I hope your appetites are ready for a melting pot of culture and really good food!!

If you were entertaining an out of town guest who has never been to Philadelphia before, what restaurant would you take them to first?

Definitely to Reading Terminal Market. The market has a number of eateries that offer a medley of cuisines that you can choose from. It also has a fish market, farmers market, juiceries and bakeries. It gives people an explorative experience and the freedom to choose, which is always a fun time!

When you’re not assisting your clients, what do you do in your spare time?

I love going on long hikes and being outdoors (paddle boarding, gardening, running, dabbling in plant identification and foraging) whatever the weather permits. I also enjoy going on road trips, lifting weights at the gym with my workout playlist on blast, going food shopping for ingredients to cook an awesome meal I’m most likely craving that day, and spending time with my family and friends.

What is one piece of advice you would give a first time home buyer before starting the process?

First time home buying can be an exciting yet scary process. It’s important to link yourself up with the right realtor for YOU. A realtor who is knowledgeable on the subject and one who is also honest, trustworthy, and empathetic. They’ll be able to you guide in the right direction and do their best in creating a seamless experience. You should also know what you value in a home and outside of the home. Try to scope out the area out and get a feel for the neighborhood/s. Ask yourself, what area makes sense to you and where you feel most connected to. It is, after all, a place you’ll be living for years to come!
